Good place for breakfast that is convenient to the main square/plaza.
I had a pretty British breakfast- eggs, bangers, and toast. Good stuff. This place gets crowded so be aware you could have to wait to get a table.

If you go to Cusco, you have to eat at Jacks. That is, if you want a meal and experience you will remember for the rest of your life. No kidding. Everyone I know who has ever eaten here remembers it years later and talks about it with a far-off nostalgic gaze. You will love Jacks for its delicious comfort food and terrifically bright, social ambiance. Don't miss the pot of brewed coca leaf tea to take the edge off your altitude woes.

Jack's was one of my favorite restaurants in Cuzco because all the dishes use really fresh produce and it is a good alternative to all the Peruvian restaurants in the area. This restaurant is expat run and operated and so it naturally attracts a lot of tourists. I think this is a perfect lunch spot that will provide you with a hearty meal to increase your energy levels as you are adjusting to the altitude.
