    Pat O'Brien's Courtyard Restaurant

    0.14 mi from Jackson Square

This place seem like a tourist trap (and maybe it is), but I love it!! The reason why I love it is the dueling piano bar area. To sit in this area, it's etiquette to buy a drink or two. Unfortunately, there's no food allowed. There are many other areas in this place that serve food though.

    Cafe Amelie

    0.16 mi from Jackson Square
    10 reviews

Cafe Amelie looks like a picturesque house with a beautiful courtyard that was converted into a mom and pop restaurant. I love the feel of the place, but most of all, I LOVE their shrimp and grits. They were definitely the best thing I ate in Louisiana. Our table loved it so much, we ordered an extra dish!

    Napoleon House

    0.18 mi from Jackson Square
    27 reviews

I am not really into New Orleans, but I like the French Quarter and I like this place. They have a great Pimms Cup and their back patio is really nice. There's a lot of Quarter-style ambiance, without the trashiness of Bourbon Street. The food isn't anything exciting, but it's good, and the drinks are great.

    The Court of Two Sisters

    0.14 mi from Jackson Square
    19 reviews

The courtyard/patio has such a romantic atmosphere. Tables are underneath an old blue wisteria tree lit up with lights in the evening. The food is good though I am sure there might be better choices for foodies. The bananas foster is quite memorable, though, and once again the ambiance is unforgettable.

    Crescent City Brewhouse

Billing itself as the Quarter's only microbrewery, Crescent City Brewhouse is right in the thick of things -- a block from the river and a block from Jackson Square -- and tidily earns its keep as a top-notch place to swill craft brews in New Orleans. Located in a very cool heritage building, the food menu features ultra-fresh seafood and ...

I loved this meal! I had the hickory roasted duck, and the pork cheek boudin starter. It was everything I needed at the time. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the quarter. Though, be careful not to over-order, the portions are HUGE!

The dinner I had here was very excellent. Not only was the service great, but the food was heavenly. I remember a Oysters Rockefeller soup - poured once my soup bowl was placed in front of me. The fish was a trout almondine - butter, almonds, fish, with dauphinoise potatoes and green beans. Desserts were lovely too. Their menu changes ...

Dim lights, a lively atmosphere, an inspired menu, and tattoo'd bartenders that make fabulous cocktails result in a memorable dining experience amidst a haze of food and drinks in the French Quarter. The restaurant, in a historic building of New Orleans, is a little segregated from the more densely restaurant-sprinkled areas of Nola. A server might recommend a wine that's ...
