    Beautiful if you have a friend to help gain access. Not nearly as much parking as Jax Beach just up the road, but I guess that is part of the reason it is so less crowded. Beach only with Florida exclusivity issues. So pretty though !

    We stopped in here overnight travelling from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Atlanta, GA Amelia Island looks a very pleasant and relaxing vacation spot, we enjoyed a magnificent Steak and Lobster meal at a restaurant and collected a bunch of sea shells from the beach.

    Really nice vacation spot - You can opt for a big fancy hotel on the beach, or a quaint little Victorian B&B. The town of Fernandina Beach is so charming!
