    Fans and Stoves Antique Mall

    1 review

Fun and zany. 5,000 square feet of kitsch and culture! Lots of collectibles, jewelry, toys, kitchen gadgets and odd items are jammed into every corner of about 35 booths. Slow but friendly staff, but neither fans nor stoves to be found in this 30-plus year anchor store to the 5 Points area of Riverside. Walkable from the Riverside Arts Market ...

    Five Points Historical District

    1 review

Easy place on a Saturday to stroll, shop and have a bite to eat in the Riverside area of Jacksonville. Good urban feel, with parks, outdoor markets, museums and churches all rimming this commercial area of the 1920s. Parking is street side and elusive at times, in order to visit the shops and cafés centered on Park St. you may ...

    AMC Regency 24

    2 reviews

This is not in a good area of town. The mall that is adjacent is a hot house for petty crimes. I would only go to this theater in the day time hours and never at night. There are better theaters down the road about 10 miles.

    Timucaun Ecological and Historical Preserve

    1 review

Totally off the beaten path, but just a short drive from JAX beaches, this preserve on Fort George Island brings together some of northern coastal Florida's iconic marshes and swamps with the historical ruins of the Kingsley Plantation, a National Park Service site. Part of the fun of detouring here is the partly paved, partly potholed road around the island, ...

42 craft beers on tap and over 300 bottled beers are available. Loud and popular on Friday nights with the Southside crowd with a large selection of both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of TVs tuned to sports. If you like pretzels, theirs is warm and tasty. Beers are a little pricey but on a warm night the atmosphere might ...

    Memorial Park

    1 review

Great little spot in the trendy Riverside neighborhood near downtown Jacksonville. Designed by the famous landscape architect Olmsted brothers in the 1920s, it is the only park in Florida dedicated to the State's 1200 WWI losses. Nice area, with boutiques, cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Families enjoying some scenery along the River while picnicking and a couple of guys ...

    Bold City Brewery

    1 review

Around the block from Intuition Ale Works tap house. Parking available and lots of space in the warehouse to hold large crowds that show up for assorted pro-military and community benefits. Although Bold City's selection is limited, with only 5-6 beers available, they do have food and tours available on Saturdays. Gallon growler refills are only $10-15 during the tap ...
