New hotel just opened in late November, 2010. It's located right on Marina Beach so it has great views of the marina. Rooms are large and well-appointed. I love the decor. Staff is great too. New restaurant there was fun to try. We sat outside in January around their firepits enjoying a glass of wine.

**MY GO-TO DATE NIGHT RESTAURANT IN VENICE** OH.MEE.GAWD. If I found a genie in a lamp and I had 3 wishes, The TK granted them all. **WISH #1- ROMANTIC TABLE** Made reservations on OpenTable with no problem, requesting a romantic table. Wish was granted. Sat in the front room near the window with a private curtain. We actually heard ourselves ...

Great brunch spot. There's always a wait but they're pretty efficient. The menu is pretty diverse and the food's really good. You can get bottomless mimosas for $4.99 on the weekends (I think, or at least Sunday for sure). Lots of hipsters go here.

Sigh... I was expecting much more from Stefan's restaurant. I hate to say it, but I was rather disappointed :( I went to Stefan's at LA Farm for a Blackboard Eats special. $40 four course meal plus an option of $15 wine pairing. Sounded like a good deal so I took my boyfriend out for a pre-birthday dinner since we ...

We each had something different including: - Grilled Salmon Salad - Excellent - Pumpkin Ravioli - Rich, but very good - Nonna Rina's Homestyle Lasagna - Excellent. Not your typical lasagna, with less cream inside. Bolognese was excellent. - Linguine Ischia - Excellent. After all this, we actually went for the Molton Chocolate Cake - EXCELLENT! I can see how ...

Jinky's takes their pancakes seriously. On most mornings, there is a line going out the door of hungry brunchers who have heard of the Red Velvet, Banana Foster and Lemon Curd Pancakes and are bent on experiencing some out-of-this-world hot cakes. Fortunately for them, the pancakes are delicious. Unfortunately, their egg dishes are not so hot - a bit on ...

So Jake Gyllenhaal's old brother works here. Or lost twin. He makes a mean strong drink too. Before the yelp screen check, it is hard to understand the lay out. It's like walking into someone's swanky living room. Bar counter with 7-8 seats. 2 sectional couches that stretch along the other wall. Huge empty space that is neither here nor ...

#BeTipsy For wine tasting without leaving the city, buy a 'credit' card at Pourtal wine bar in Santa Monica and redeem it for sips of varied reds and whites -- just insert your card, press the button that corresponds to the wine you’d like to try, and out comes a perfect 2 oz. pour. **SKIP THE FOOD, ORDER THE PIE** What the heck. Caribbean theme restaurant with Italian, soul, and comfort foods on the same menu?! I was confused. Christmas lights adorned the front. Plantation ceiling fans inside. And comic book artwork decked the walls. I was confused. The shrimp and grits ($21) was recommended by our waitress. I ordered. As a NOLA gal, ...

If anything, just go for the Kaya Toast - a salty sweet creamy crunchy combo. Toast, with pandan filling, with a fried egg and dark soy sauce. Pop the yolk, dip the toast - I could have eaten 3 of these.

A classic lounge, great cocktails, live jazz, and an atmosphere that makes you feel like money, baby. This venerable bar goes though it's ups and downs, and thankfully the movie swingers has faded from the majority of the populations memory. dress up, but go leave the zoot costume and go with something suave.

I love this place. The decor is fancy enough but not that garish. The food is clean and they have a decent variety. I usually order the jambalaya. Its not exactly what you'd probably get down in New Orleans but its still pretty tasty nonetheless.

Very good K-BBQ especially for AYCE. Don't be deceived my the name as well as the weird hentai-anime decor. Believe me I don't understand it either!
