    Tokyo Ryokan

    Tokyo Ryokan

    3 reviews
Good! - 76% of guests recommend

This Ryokan isn't that big but it's cheap. Also this Ryokan's owner speaks English very well and knows a lot of information about what's going on around this ryokan. He talked to us about specific sumo players in the near by sumo stalls, so I imagine he keeps up to date on sumo events, so if you want to see ...

Just an hour's shinkansen train ride from Tokyo, Hoshinoya Karuizawa is an incredible ryokan-inspired resort at the base of Mt. Asama, an active (but completely safe) volcano. It's also one of Japan’s first eco-resorts, generating approximately 70% of its own energy, much of it from the hot springs that abound on the property. The geothermal springs, which were discovered in ...

Trying to find a ryokan during the anticipated cherry blooms is a challenge to say the least. This expereince is exactly what I was hoping it would be. The hotel is right opposite the JR Tennoji station so it is really easy for us to go anywhere. The rooms are decent. This is a nice hostel budget hotel. Jimbocho is near lots of places, especially, Akihabara, and it's a direct subway ride to Shibuya.
