I'm such a fan of Chef Suzanne Tracht. Her food is high end, yes, but is also so familiar and comforting. I love her tradition of doing amazing things on Mondays. Currently, she has Lobster Mondays going on!

so my friend and I have been dying to try this place after Rocco said on Best Thing I Ever Ate that the pot roast here was awesome. Lucky for us, there was a Bloomspot deal so we finally headed out to enjoy some food.

We both got the pot roast and ordered a side of mashed potatoes and onion rings to share. SO good. The pot roast was so tender, don't need a knife for this. The mashed potatoes were silky smooth. The onion rings were quite lovely.

For dessert my friend got the salted butterscotch pudding. I had a taste, very good. I ordered the banana cream pie - which is like a mini pie. I was surprised about how refreshing it was.

Our server was great. Super nice.

Parking is well - it's westside LA parking. It sucks. There is valet, but it's $6.

The only thing I wish is that I bought 2 of those Bloomspot deals because it was over $100 bucks for us for dinner, and we didn't order any drinks.

Jar does simple really well. Expect to see things like pot roast, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs and creamed spinach on the menu.
