I absolutely love this hotel! It is tucked away on quiet little street near the Jardin de Luxembourg. On the outside it looks like any average three-star establishment, which makes it even more surprising to see the beautiful rooms.
The suite is amazing: When you enter the room, an open bathroom welcomes you first, with an old style bathtub, sink and a little seating area. There is also another, private bathroom with shower and toilet. Then you go up the stairs and find two large beds separated by a wall and equipped with iMac, and good quality linens. Some rooms have balconies with nice views on the higher levels.
This is definitely recommended hotel for anyone looking for luxurious stay in a non-typical hotel. Yes, it's pricey, but well worth it.

In order to summarize the Jardin de L'Odeon, I will call it "full of pleasant contradictions".
It is located in a small and quiet street of a busy neighborhood.
It is swanky, but the staff is personable and informative.
The decor is kooky and modern, with a classic elegance.
Furthermore, each of the rooms has a special attribute (terrace, mezzanine...) making this hotel worth the slightly higher price.

Jardin de L'Odeon is on a quiet street, a short walk to the banks of the Seine (and then two blocks from Notre Dame Cathedral), and near great restaurants and cafes. My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights during the summer - when we first arrived, they didn't have our room ready just yet, so they gave us a free upgrade to a suite! We had a peaceful view of the garden, with our own little balcony. The sitting room had a lovely red velvet loveseat and a big flatscreen TV. The bed was big (a big perk in Europe) and VERY comfortable - and we got complimentary robes and slippers. We were always graciously greeted when we came and went, and the concierge gave us a free map and lots of helpful advice about our sightseeing plans. We both agreed that it helped make our overall experience that much better. And in pretentious Paris, true hospitality is a treat.Recommended for:Family Travelers

We just returned from a trip to France in July. We stayed at Jardin de L'Odeon and had a great experience. Not only were they incredibly helpful (my husband managed to lose his blackberry in the cab on the way there), but the room was chic and comfortable and it was within walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens and Boulevard St. Germain (lots of restaurants and shops). They also had free wifi, flat panel mac in the room and a surprisingly large shower.
