Wow! Beautiful! I almost missed this amazing attraction in Paris and kind of stumbled upon it by accident. Definitely worth checking out!

Jardin du Luxembourg is a famous park in the 6th arrondissement and it's a lovely destination for families. It's a perfect spot for picnic among the fountains, statues and impeccably cared garden, and for the little ones, there is a fenced-in playground with zipline, slides, swings and a carousel. There's an admission fee of couple euros per person, but it's definitely one of the best playgrounds in Paris.

Great park for strolling, relaxing and for kids as well. There are tennis courts, playgrounds, loads of seating around the main strip near the palace and running tracks throughout. A highlight is the toy boat rental for the pond/fountain. It is so fun to watch the kids play with their sailboats and the parents trying to keep up with the enthusiastic kids poking their boats along.

I enjoyed visiting the Jardin du Luxembourg, strolling through the beautiful gardens and finding a spot to sit, lunch, and simply relax. After standing in long lines everywhere else in Paris, the Jardin (although busy with people) was a refreshing change.

One of the most beautiful parks in Paris, great atmosphere specially in summer months, read about it in citytripplanner.com with just 2 visiting the city, it was a relax way to end my eurotrip.

There's nothing like sitting on a bench overlooking the sailboat pond to make visitors feel briefly Parisian. The gardens are stunning and the families gathered here really make the area feel alive.

The 2nd largest park in the city is for me the most beautiful! Take a walk, enjoy the manicured gardens and snap photos. Weekdays are best for quiet and photo ops.

The Luxembourg Gardens are expansive and beautiful gardens located near the Pantheon and featuring stunning fountains, sculptures, and the Luxembourg Palace. The Medici Fountain can also be found on the grounds.

If you are traveling with children then this is a must. The most fantastic playground and pony rides and wireless sailboats keep the children happy.

One of the largest parks in Paris. While you walk around the multiple paths you may come across the original model of the Statue of Liberty. You will also find some activities for kids there.

I think there are few better ways to see a country than to experience how people live. After a day sightseeing at museums and the like, spend a few hours here. Watch families sail model boats on the lake, stroll the gardens, relax.

This pretty garden is large and perfect for picnics. With pony rides for younger kids, and sights for adults, this is perfect for the whole family.

Beautiful park, although not my favorite place to relax in France. There are many children running around, playing with rented boats in a fountain.

Right behind the large fountain that sits in front of the Senate building, you can rent miniature sailboats (you'll see them stacked up on a little trolley). Kids love to put them in the fountain and watch them go!

Description

Le Jardin du Luxembourg (Luxembourg Gardens) is Paris’ second largest public park and the garden of the French Senate, which is housed in adjacent Luxembourg Palace. The gardens are home to hundreds of statues, fountains and monuments, as well as popular public seating areas. Many important works of French culture have used the gardens as a setting, namely Victor Hugo’s famed Les Miserables.
