A quiet spot in the center of Paris, near le musée du Louvres. The official garden of Ministère de la Culture, La Comédie Française, et le Conseil Constitutionnel. Just few tourists here, this is a real remote beach in the city. Nice "de luxe" shops, and just few restaurants (not so expensive), a famous parfume marker, very wel know "Colonnes de Buren.

This place is magic. The courtyard of an old palace, right next to the Louvre, has some of the hippest, most beautiful shops, set in this stern, monastic ambiance. Incredibly charming, and considering it's just next to the Louvre, surprisingly hidden! Expect to find beautiful vintage, old war medals, but also Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney, as well as the stunning Serge Lutens perfume boutique.
