Hiking in Jasper National Park in early September is beathtakingly beautiful. Trails are well marked even for beginners, bathrooms are clean and bear warnings are posted and updated regularly. Lots of diversity in the hiking options, from flat, shaded easy loops around lakes or more strenuous, uphill climbs to gorgeous vistas of glaciers and skylines.

I last stayed at the Marmot Lodge in the winter and was humbled in being part of this stunning Canadian National Park. And I needed to get ...
