Hiking in Jasper National Park in early September is beathtakingly beautiful. Trails are well marked even for beginners, bathrooms are clean and bear warnings are posted and updated regularly. Lots of diversity in the hiking options, from flat, shaded easy loops around lakes or more strenuous, uphill climbs to gorgeous vistas of glaciers and skylines.

Picked up two ready-made sandwiches to go hiking (one veggie, one roast beef) and did not like them at all. Had to toss the roastbeef as it was loaded with some mayo-like dressing. Coffee was great however and the place was jammed with people getting pastries.
