I love Jazz Cat for their hot pot choices. It's individual-sized hot pot, so you and your friends can try different soup bases. Brilliant! There's also dessert options and nightlife stuff nearby in San Gabriel!

Great place for hot pot! They have a lot of different options for soup bases and sauces. You also get to order the type of meat you want and choose whether you prefer more meat and less vegetables or vice versa. Definitely had a great experience here!

Jazz Cat is one of those places that I keep finding myself craving whenever I'm back in Southern California. It's consistent and ALWAYS hits the spot.
Taiwanese Spicy Sacha Broth is my favorite of the broth flavors, but I love how they have so many to choose from. I always get the Angus Certified Beef, because there's a tender fattiness that you don't get with the regular beef.
Salt & Pepper Fried Squid is also really good here.
The only thing that sucks is the long ass wait, but Jazz Cat is definitely worth it on a cold, rainy day.

Jazz Cat has great lunch specials and offers individualized hot pot. For a couple extra bucks you can upgrade to prime meat and get t-rex style and get even more. There are so many different flavors of soups to try. The portions are generous and they give plenty of veggies and sides. You really have to ask the wait staff for the different types of sauces however. Taiwanese spicy is mega spicy, and the Kimchi broth is quite good as well.
$10 lunch specials until 5.
The ambiance is pretty hip and I love the cats photos all over the walls. The place is a bit under staffed, and can get quite busy. Make sure to arrive early.Recommended for:Trendsters

Something about Chinese hotpot I don't dig. Maybe because they put all sorts of weird things in it. Especially when I was in Hong Kong, like blood cubes, intestines, etc. I came here with friends, the quality not too bad. Alot of broths you can choose from which is a cool option and different. I still prefer Japanese Shabu-Shabu anyday of the week!
