I had the lobster benedict a few days ago and it was amaaaazing. There was a good amount of lobster, the egg was beautifully poached, and the sauce was not overpowering and not too heavy. The potatoes are a mix of yellow, blue and sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes are a nice touch. Never had that before mixed with regular potatoes and they were really good. This was served with a small bowl of fruit on the side.
The brandy apple french toast was also delicious. The bread is really soft. There is a lot of sauce... The bread is literally swimming in sauce... so I preferred to scrape most of the sauce off, but still enjoyed it very much with the apple pieces.
The lemon poppy seed pancakes were also good, and were served with fresh whipped cream and berry sauce.
I would recommend this place for brunch if you are in Santa Barbara. We stopped by on the drive from SoCal to NorCal (while taking the long scenic route) and it was worth it.Recommended for:

I have known the owners of Jeannine's for years and this is a great restaurant run by a great family. The baked goods are out of this world. You can order cakes in advance and you will not be disappointed. This is a local's hangout but also a "must-do" for visitors. In addition to the Coast Village Road location, I recommend dropping in at their downtown location in the beautiful La Arcada Court.
