The trip usually started with breakfast and a visit to the coffee plantation. Depending how much time you have, you can skip the first two. I had a great time cycling thru the narrow lanes of Ubud passing the rice field, markets , temples and villages. It is a two hour trip and if you happen to travel with enough people, you can ask for a private tour and can stop anywhere along the way. If you are lucky, you might be able to see some cockfighting held at the temple area or some religious ceremony along the road (near temple). They would be able to tailor make your trip ie whether you want to have a leisure ride (downhill all the way) or tougher ride for the more serious bikers. The trip ended with Balinese lunch at a typical Balinese house. Hotel pick up can also be arranged. I had gone back and this time I took a shorter afternoon ride, and I must say it was equally good (easy but different route, mostly downhill). I had enjoyed the ride, the scenery and the fresh air of Ubud.Recommended for:
