Jenners is often described as the Harrods of Edinburgh. Like Harrods, you can get almost everything in this department store. It ranges over many floors and in two connected buildings. Food, clothes, souvenirs, household items and much more can be bought here.Recommended for:Local Culture

Jenner's used to be the pride of Edinburgh when it came to department stores. But recently, the locals I talked to were all disappointed since it had been bought out by House of Fraser. As a non-local, what I noticed was how confusing the layout was. Finding the different floors (or half floors) was difficult as there wasn't one staircase or escalator that went through the whole building. I ended up finding only one thing I came for and found the prices too high for my budget.
