I'm planning a trip to Panama in April and these were the things I was considering, does any one have any additional tips or suggestions/amendments to this?:
-Hop on-off bus (to see a few more sites &museums)
-Panama's Riveria (day trip to beaches, is it worth it or not? someone told me the beaches are not that great though)
-Day trip to El Valle de Anton to do the canopy/zip line tour (they say featured in Natural Geographic, so worth it? Eat at La Casa de Lourdes?)
-Isla Taboga (or is there a better island, such as Isla del Rey but are any of the islands accessible by a short cruise or is airfare mandatory?)
-Which canal trip, thinking of Lonely Planet's six hour tour which I think should be sufficient, http://www.viator.com/tours/Panama-City/Panama-Canal-Partial-Transit-Sightseeing-Cruise/d950-2744PCPT/pickup it's $144.99 per person, too much or about right?

In addition to taking the Canal tour, you should also consider stopping at the Locks visitor's center to learn more about the history and the building of the canal. The coolest part about this visit is going to the center's roof top and see the boats traverse the canal...lined up one by one.

Hello Jennifer, you might consider stopping at the Seafood Market in the morning and sample some of the freshest and tastiest cerviche here. If not for the food, this is a good place to see the locals and how they interact.
