    Tmol Shilshom

    4 reviews

Tmol ve Shilshom ("yesterday and the day before") is a sweet cafe with bookstore, tucked away from the crush of Jerusalem tourists in a small courtyard. The selection of books to borrow is really amazing, the food is good, and the silence is even better.

    Machneyuda

    3 reviews

Definitely a must go for anyone visiting the city. This place is located in the middle of the market and uses the freshest produce and ingredients every day. The place is designed like an actual part of the market with bags and fresh produce around you. The amazing dishes you'll taste here may sound a bit weird when you'll read ...

I really like this small and full of character restaurant located in the old building of Jerusalem artist house. This place will give you a true taste of the city as it is today - a bit of everything...

    Armenian Tavern

Lush decor, tasty food (meat wrapped in grape leaves, cooked in yogurt and spices was especially good) make the long waits perfectly acceptable.

    Levan

Levan has great views of the Hebron wall and East Jerusalem. The perfect place for a relaxing brunch before you embark on a day of sightseeing in the old city. The shakshuka was excellent but the pancakes also looked quite tempting. The coffee could have been better but was quickly forgotten with a glass of sparkling wine. Be sure to ...

    Mala Bistro

    2 reviews

The food is good. The acoustics inside is horrible, the place isn't too clean. Waiters aren't very attentive. Prices are high even in Tel Aviv standards - 13 Shekels for a 330ml bottle of coke. Atmosphere is loud and nervous.

    Marvad Haksamim

An institution in Jerusalem since the 1960s (though more recently at this new location in the German Colony) serving up Yemenite-influenced dishes. And the name means Magic Carpet, by the way.

    Shualeh Restaurant

Amazing shwarma! Prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. Hang on to your wallet if you wander too far in this section of town, though.

    Babette

It's a tiny place only locals know. Beside the great waffles they have, they also make the best pear cider. My favorite is apple sauce with sour cream!!!

    Bulghourji Armenian restaurant jerusalem

    1 review

It is situated in an ancient and highly impressive building which was once a burghul / bulgur factory, and serves really good Armenian dishes. It has strong wifi! Great ambiance. Highly recommended specially after walking the long route of the via dolorosa.

    Tutti Frutti

    1 review

There are any number of places in Jerusalem where freshly squeezed juices are available. Orange, grapefruit, pomegranate - you name it, they have it. We loved this place not only because of its selection and closeness to our hotel but by our second trip the person serving us remembered us and what we had our first time.

    Hatzot

    1 review

According to one of my local friends Hatzot is a Jerusalem institution. With a menu of delectable mixed grill items and friendly service, I can understand why. Definitely worth a visit.
