The seafood barbeques at Jimbaran Beach in south Bali rate among the island's best and most memorable dining experiences. While the seafood here may not be the cheapest meal on Bali, offerings like giant king prawns, and a spectacular array of sauces to accompany, can't be argued with. A fabulous place to watch the sunset from the sand with a cold beer.

Touristy and maybe a bit more expensive than it should be, but the seafood really is great and you can't beat eating outdoors on the beach. Dozens of restaurants line the beach at Jimbaran, with nearly identical menus and fresh seafood to choose from. Some of the places have dance performances, others not, but all have the same atmosphere of tables in the sand lining the ocean. A fun spot for a special dinner in Bali.

Excellent place to have seafood in the evening by the beach. The fish are fresh and you can ask the restaurants to have them cooked the way you like. Can't miss this place when you are in Bali.

I spent New Year's Eve here, ordering red snapper from Surya, watching the sun set, amidst the chaos and cacophony of bottle rockets, firecrackers, and a firework show over the harbor. The red snapper is amazing, particularly if you are comfortable eating bone-in fish.

The Jimbaran seafood is decent, but quite overpriced. When you head into Jimbaran, there is a long row of seafood joints, which serve similar dishes at similar prices. Expect to pay 150,000 to 300,000 rupiah for good seafood.
What broke my heart about Jimbaran was how much trash there was on the beach. If you arrive when it's dark, you won't notice it too much because they bury it in the sand, but during the day the beach is infested with trash. It's quite sad. It was the dirtiest beach we went to on our bali trip and made the meal a bit of a downer.

The Jimbaran Seafood complex is so great!, I would dine there every day! This is a collection of restaurants on the Jimbaran beach, serving a wide selection of fresh seafood, tropical juices and local beers that are all delicious and reasonably priced. Service is average, but the lively and smoky atmosphere is fantastic!
