This is one of my favorite bars in Philly. They show many of the EPL games. I go here more than any other bar except for Fado. The owner Eamon is a great guy. Stop in for a pint.

It's cool to see, but not worth waiting in line for. Just walk towards the back of the building and you can peak through the window and have a perfect view.

Independence Hall was built in 1753 as the State House of the Province of Pennsylvania. Independence Hall is famous because it’s the birth place of both the Declaration of Independence (1776) and the United States Constitution (1787). It is open to the public to enter, look around, and take pictures of the interior. In addition, there are also free 30-minute ...

Funky neighborhood. No longer really a red light district. Fun shops and some good food. Try the Jamaican Jerk Hut. The Italian market is also near by and there are some good BYOs.

Hands down the cutest historical street in Philadelphia. There's not much to it, besides bothering the people who still live there, but if you like to place yourself in the middle of something unique, quaint, and historical, then definitely check it out.

The Story of We the People is the theme here, with an interactive exhibit that brings American history alive for everyone. Take a picture with the bronze statues of prominent forefathers, watch an impressive light and sound show that briefs visitors on the city's (and country's) history, and then peruse the gift shop for a cheesy replica of the Constitution. ...

Down in this area around the waterfront with many historical signs around, and where the streets are cobblestones. Plus there is one sign reads this is the site of where Tun Tavern stood "The Birthplace of US Marine Corp".

There are very few street markets in the US, so the few we have are treasures, and I especially love this one. It's unpretentious and really a functioning neighborhood (unlike NYC's Little Italy), and very interesting for its mix of different foods--not just Italian, but now some Asian shops moving in, and a few very old stores (vinyl records!).

Not much to see here other than the outside of the building. It was once home to the US's first central bank, the brain child of Alexander Hamilton, and one of the tools he envisioned in forming a strong central government as well as serving the vital role of consolidating and paying-off the US's war debt
