A hidden gem. Located near to Stephen's green, it is almost a secret park and one which not many seem to know about. A lovely spot to sit a read your book, or to bring your lunch too. Less busy than Stephen's green, but still centrally located. Its a lovely, quiet little place to stop by.

Lots of high street names and a few independents. A handy place at the top of Grafton Street in which to shop or snack if it is raining outside. There is a very good ice cream place without seating downstairs at the back of the building and multistorey car parking on site.

This is a bar which is host to gallery exhibitions, food and music festivals and much much more. This is the type of bar you would expect to find in Berlin. Great music all the time - expect international djs to pop by and play. Has a converted double decker bus which serves pizza. Plenty of graffitti about the place. ...

Historic pub with an awesome name. On the large side for my taste, but they've got Guinness taps you can pull yourself at the tables, so that's fun.

    The Guinness Storehouse

    1.54 mi from Jo'Burger
    104 reviews

After this tour, I've gained the appreciation of enjoying a Guiness. The tour was definitely touristy but the best part is the free pint while on the top floor of the facility. You see the entire city of Dublin (360 degrees). The gentleman in the frame is Arthur Guiness, founder of the company.

Not to be a kill joy but there are lots of other proper Irish pubs in Dublin than the clap happy tripe that passes for Ireland in this place - shop around! Try the trad session in Cassidy's pub on Camden St on a Sunday evening if you're looking for somewhere with a genuine appreciation for Irish music.

Gorgeous campus in a nice central location. A must-see in Dublin. More for the atmosphere and architecture / historical buildings than for any specific tourist sight. The library is particularly special.

Maybe it was just the post-Christmas excitement, but it was a lot of fun to see everyone out and about. Mixed in with the shops are some of Dublin's oldest pubs, O'Donoghue's, Bruxellies, and McNeery,s.

Highlight of my trip to see the Book of Kells exhibit. If you're a fan of illuminated texts this is incredible! They don't move you out of the room with the actual texts so you can linger and really study the pages they have open. Seeing the famous library was also fascinating although I didn't find the exhibit all that ...

Dublin Castle is a small castle that's not that impressive except for its role in history. Michael Collins set up the Provisional Government here.

Again on all the bus tours and a monument to the troubles. I don't like this sort of prison tourism, but you might find it interesting.

    1.77 mi from Jo'Burger
    24 reviews

The Jameson Distillery is a must do attraction in Dublin. Enjoy a glass of Jameson during your short wait for the tour to start. After the interesting video that kicks off the tour, make sure to be a volunteer for something that comes at the end of the tour (they wont tell you, and neither will I, but its fun!).

Massive park with a couple castles, the papal cross, the Deerfield residence, the Wellington memorial and some native deer. It's on the bus tour route, but you can easily spend a day exploring. I went in December which was just too cold.

The church was beautiful from the outside, but from the inside it was less impressive and small. However, it was still interesting and fun to go to service in Dublin’s most famous cathedral.
