Being a girl who lived on the beach in Miami, I will always prefer Joe's down there, but it is a great place to get a bite during the holidays - cozy and the food is always good. Like most places in Chicago, get reservations instead of just dropping in. The key lime pie is my ultimate favorite dish here!
Easy to get to: valet available, parking is extremely expensive in this area. Most bus stops off Michigan Ave stop within a couple blocks from the restaurant. Or you can opt for the Grand redline stop.

Sister restaurant to the famous Joe's Stone Crab in Miami, this is an institution in Chicago. The decor is classic steakhouse with white linens, handsome dark wood and plush leather booths.
There's a filet mignon and a stone crab lunch special that includes soup, potatoes, cole slaw and key lime pie. The meaty stone crab claws are served cold and are pre-cracked for your convenience.
Great spot for power lunches and business meetings.

Joe's Seafood Steak and Stone Crab solely exists so you can experience a fine dining experience with top of the line food. Their whole menu is exquisite off the wall so good, it will explode your taste buds and your wallet. This is ultimate AMERICAN dining at a price. Fresh stone crab is also unreal. If you have the dollars... make a visit to Joes and you want regret your meal.

I was here for a company dinner, and this place was excellent. I had the king crab legs with scallop. Awesome. I also tried food from my coworker's plates and it was very good. The service outstanding and the ambience is real cool. I will come again if in the area!
