Lovely freshwater lake encircled by a fairly easy 3 mile trail. The loop around the lake is a very accessible way to experience Acadia National Park on foot.
The west side of the trail is a bit rougher than the east side. If you aren't able to climb over rocks / balance on split logs, it could be a be tricky; however, most people in good health should find this to be a very easy hike.
Dogs are allowed. Food and drink are available at the Jordan Pond restaurant located at the entrance to the pond and trail.
