5 star hotel situated on the Sheik Zayed Rd about a 15 minute drive from the airport. Fantastic views of the surrounding city vista and desert. Small functional swimming pool on the ground floor but you can get a free ride to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, use all the facilities there and just charge everything to your room.
Service throughout the hotel is excellent and make sure you visit Vu, the fabulous restaurant on the top floor for a gourmet experience at very reasonable prices. The lobby has a wine bar and afternoon tea facility. You can also walk through to the Emirates Towers Boulevard where you can find upscale shopping and more restaurants, including a branch of The Ivy.

I always find this place enchanting. The architecture and views here are stunning and this is also home to my favorite restaurant -- Al Nafoorah.
Her days at the top may have passed but this is still one of my favorites.Recommended for:

This hotel takes up one of the two famous glass towers near Dubai International Financial Center. The lobby is a great place to see high profile Emirates and other international people meet and do business. At 52 stories the hotel has views from all the rooms, and the glass elevator provides a view all the way out to the beach. Also, those staying at Jumerirah Emirates Towers Hotel who want to visit the beach can use the facilities at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The gym at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel is in the other tower and is actually a chain gym that offers a lot of classes because it is not exclusively for hotel guests. There is a cool camel statue near the entry of the hotel made out of mirrored tiles.Recommended for:

The Jumeirah Emirates Hotel Tower is the smaller of the two sister towers, the Emirates Towers. It is also the world’s third-tallest all-hotel building. It is just between the Financial Center and the World Trade Center. Transportation is no problem, the metro station is a three minute walk or you can take a taxi at the entrance. The Hotel has his house own shopping boulevard. They also offer free access to the Wild Wadi Water Park, with regular shuttles going from the Hotel. What I also found interesting is that they had a “women only” floor. I don’t know if it is necessary, but surely it as a nice feature for Muslim people. With the fact that there is no beach access, I would say that it’s more made for a business stay, rather than coming as a family.Recommended for:

I have not stayed in the Jumeirah Emirates Towers as a guest, however I have frequented the hotel many times as there are a few restaurants, bars, gyms and shops in the vicinity. The architechture of the twin towers look amazing and it continues to add to the glamour of the Dubai skyline. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Sheikh Zayed road, next to the Dubai International Financial centre and the World Trade Centre.
The lobby is large and often filled with people having arabic tea or coffee. Upstairs there is cocktail bar called Vu's, who serve awesome strawberry daiquiri's as well as many other cocktails. Floor to ceiling windows with views of Dubai right before your eyes, with the glitter of the city lights at night adding to glamour of the bar.
Downstairs is The Boulevard - a high end shopping and restaurant area, with stores such as Armani, Coach and Ermenegildo Zegna. There are many restaurants to try, and for a fun night head to Harry Ghatto's for Karaoke and drinks!
There are two gyms- The Big Apple and The Health Club. The Big Apple is always busy and for me quite masculine, and the Health club is smaller but more spa like with a swimming pool outside.
One tower of the two is actually an office tower, and the other being the hotel. If you wish to travel around Dubai via the Metro, the station is a two minute walk away.
A hotel in a central location with a lot of things to do within walking distance - you can't go wrong!
