This review is specifically regarding the Marriot's wine bar, Bar Rouge.
Bar Rouge’s wine buffet has a special occasion atmosphere, but without the special occasion price. At 45,000 won per-head it sounds pricey but when you factor in its all you can eat and drink it’s a pretty sweet deal. It has a selection of decent wines and whilst it’s mostly finger food, I always feel stuffed afterwards. It has large group areas for parties and smaller partitioned sections for more intimate gatherings or dates. There’s also live music and a temperature-controlled cheese room.Recommended for:

The JW Marriott has high quality in customer service, rooms, style, and comfort. The rooms were spacious, modern, clean, and well-stocked with the necessities to make your stay enjoyable. I like the note and box of chocolate they leave on the pillow. Sometimes it's the little details they do that makes your day. The location was central, and walking distance to some tourist areas. Overall a pleasure staying at the hotel.

Rock climbing wall, large pool, full gym with an indoor track that overlooks the pool. The food is great, but the extensive fitness opportunities will have you feeling OK about overindulging. Plus, it's located right above a large bus & train terminal with tons of underground shopping.

Seems like a very nice hotel, but feels more like a convention center than anything else. The location is very central and a great department store is right next door, but I personally would not stay here. This hotel did not have the comfort vibe

Man it is cold in Korea...
Brrrrr between eating this yummy french toast like thing at a small street kiosk and spicy hot red soup everywhere else, the hotel was the only other thing that kept me warm. Though from the bar area I was able to enjoy the great city skyline with a bottle of soju. I found that the room was nearly like Vegas standards with huge space and a wonderful bath. I love to bathe. And I love to bathe in Seoul. Though it is odd to be with so many people that are so connected with the internet. Thankfully they let me have a shot at it with the free wifi. It was a touch of a pain to get anywhere due to its out of the way location but it was nothing a cab could not handle. Thank gawd for soju!
