we ordered the original ramen and the garlic one. It's really good! They're both delicious. I like the garlic one slightly better because it has more flavor. It does get a little overwhelming but I found a solution. I mixed some of my fiance's soup with mine and it became perfect! A great balance! The garlic base is pretty thick so the original soup thinned it out. I'd totally come here again. We also had the potstickers which was also really good! The space is quite small so if you come late for lunch, you might have to wait a little while. Enjoy!

Still one of my favorite Ramen spots. I think Kahoo has some of the best spicy ramens available in the south bay, as well as lots of little dishes that many ramen spots don't offer (pork belly with rice, yum!). Expect a wait/line during peak times though for lunch/dinner!

Since we were in the area, and Kahoo was one of the few ramen houses still open until 9:30pm on a weeknight, we decided to haul our asses over there and grabbed a table in the tiny little place.
I went with the shoyu ramen with charsu, but asked for spicy shoyu broth. Being a piggy and a pork lover, I also ordered a small bowl of pork over rice. OMG, it totally hit the spot! I ended up eating a few bites of the tender and flavorful pork over rice and took the rest home, which was perfect for lunch today. The ramen was really yummy, with thinner noodles than I'm used to, but a lot of pork and veggies. The spicy broth had a great kick, but be careful slurping it down because I almost choked on that spicy soup. Although I didn't try any, the fried chicken karaage with spicy sauce and gyoza were big hits at our table.
I think I still prefer Santouka's special pork ramen, but the portions here are bigger and cheaper. You may want to order an appetizer or rice bowl on the side just in case the thin noodles don't fill you up. We didn't have to wait for a table because we were there so late, but because the place is so small, you'll want to arrive early or expect to wait outside.
