Stayed here for a wedding and had two little kids and a grandma. We got a nice big 2 bedroom unit. It's just like a condo, you get a nice kitchen and lots of room. It worked great for us. They have a nice big pool and a kids pool plus its right on the water. They also have a cool sand box for the kids and its packed with sand toys. The resort has a little shopping center behind it which has a little shopping market and a cool place for breakfast as well.Recommended for:Family Travelers

Not the most luxurious but the price is right and the service is good. Great proximity to eastern shore nightlife and beaches and several of the beautiful waterfalls that Kauai is famous for. While it is a bit older than other hotels, the ocean views are great (Sunrises!) and they have great food and drink specials

Nestled amongst coconut trees, plumeria blossoms and a ginger garden, the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy is located in Kapaa, Hawaii. Seven miles north of Lihue town, the resort is convenient to area attractions and recreation, like the Wailua River State Park, just a one-mile walk from the property. The Coconut Marketplace is directly across the street and more shopping and dining is available in Kapaa. Dense rainforests, impenetrable valleys, majestic peaks and perfect golden beaches make Kauai one of Hawaii's most desirable destinations.
The secluded resort invites guests into a slate-tiled lobby with gold and red accents and island décor. The lobby opens onto a garden and a freeform pool complete with a waterfall and rock formations. There is a children's outdoor pool on the property, and an oceanfront spa tub offers the ultimate in relaxation. The Hukilau Lanai is an open-air, fine restaurant offering seafood, prime rib and Pacific Rim cuisine made with local ingredients. The Beachboy Bar overlooks the freeform pool and waterfall and features drinks and casual fare. There is a fitness center on site, and spa services are available. Palm trees and meticulous landscaping add to the serenity of the resort, and the 24-front desk staff provides concierge and business services.
The resort offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom condo-style accommodations. Studios offer compact refrigerators and microwave ovens, whereas one- and two-bedroom units feature full kitchens with refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers and microwave ovens. One- and two-bedroom units also boast furnished lanais with garden or ocean views and laundry facilities. Bathrooms have slate-tile floors and granite countertops, and CD stereos, in-room safes and cable television are standard.
