Splurged and stayed here the night before I moved to the Netherlands. Worth every single euro.
In between Terminal 2 and Terminal 1, yet far enough away so that you don't have random people wandering around the hotel. Perfect for early morning or late evening flights.
Outstanding! Since I was lugging around my life in luggage (4 large pieces and a carry-on) I had not only a porter that helped me, but they also ordered a shuttle to pick me up and take me directly to my terminal. When I hear shuttle, I think little white van. What they meant was luxury Audi. Wow.
Spacious, loads of room even with my four pieces of luggage. Super soundproof to the point where a major thunderstorm went through and I thought it was the faint drum beat from the disco (I actually almost called the front desk about it; good thing I looked outside first!)
You have to pay for wifi...really? Bummer, but I was glad I did. Breakfast, depends on your purpose for staying. Of course you could get a super cheap breakfast at McDonalds but then you'd be getting a super cheap breakfast at McDonalds. The hotel's breakfast buffet had just about anything you'd want including a fish station, hot egg station, smoothie station, bread baskets galore, fruit salad, regular salad, meats, cheeses, cereal and yogurt, you name it, they probably had it. Very good.
All in all, I was super happy that I forked out the money for a relaxing and smooth transition.Recommended for:

If you are only staying overnight to catch an early flight the next morning, you might wish that you could stay a little longer, . The rooms are clean, bright and spacious and have everything from WiFi to video on demand. In addition to the airy Artrium and lobby, the Spa and Fitness area is worth a visit. Too bad that you probably won’t have time to actually use everything the Fit&Fly Spa has to offer: a big pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, and various massages and beauty treatments. If you just stay for a weekend, it is worth to check the weekend deals. It would be very hard to find a hotel at that standard for the same price in the city center.

The lobby is spacious and modern. Lots of glass and huge palm-trees make you feel like you are in a futuristic winter garden. Here you can see Germany as the land of ideas and technology. The Audi-Forum is next door, where you can test drive the newest models and learn a few things about the history of this famous German car manufacturer. While the Kempinsky is mainly a conference hotel, it also attracts a local crowd for the themed buffets at the restaurant. The Sunday brunch is especially worth a try.
