Do you love craft beer? Hate crowds? Kennedy's is the place for you!
This off-the-beaten-path jewel is situated along the road from North Beach to Fisherman's Wharf. The restaurant has some of the best paneer I've ever had. But it's the beer selection that really makes Kennedy's stand out. They have 40+ taps of local and regional brews, and a two-for-one happy hour from 5-7 every day. It's a great place to catch a sports game on television, and there's rarely a huge crowd.Recommended for:

Locals know that Kennedy’s has one of the best happy hours in the city. From 5-7 p.m. and 11-11:30 p.m. every day (excluding many special events like Fleet Week or St. Patrick’s Day), you’ll get two-for-one draft beers. Combined with a fairly decent Indian restaurant and an active jukebox, you’ve got a whole afternoon ahead of you.
Kennedy’s is part of what I like to call the “triangle of happy hours,” which includes International Cafe and 901 Columbus Caffè.Recommended for:

I came here often during my 3 month stay in San Fran. First was the $2 pints of Guinness that sucked me in. They also have a few pool tables which also is a plus for me. The food is also good too but being an Irish bar the cuisine is Chinese. Really cool place to hang out. Highly recommended!

Indian food at an Irish pub. Yep. Why not?
I've never been here for the pub part, but I can say that this is, surprisingly, some of my favorite Indian in the city.
You wouldn't think it. You wouldn't think it, right, but it's got proper good Indian food.
Sorry-- that was said with a hybrid Irish/Indian accent in my head. Whatever. Just eat here. It's good food!
