Went on a weekday afternoon. Walking/running path is about .75 miles We parked at the bottom of the hill but note that there is a parking area on top where the walking/running path begins. The park seemed quite advanced with solar panels.
The park is beautiful and felt safe despite the general area isn't the nicest, the park was fine.

A 380-acre park that offers a panorama of the entire Los Angeles Basin, including nearby working oil wells, the Pacific Ocean and close but not in earshot planes landing at LAX. There is a lovely, small lake with a well-designed, artificial stream, walking trails and picnic areas. The views provide a less publicized but still impressive panorama of Los Angeles looking towards the Getty and the Griffith Observatory instead of viewing the basin from those locations.
