Have you ever thought cricket was boring? Then you haven't been to a cricket match in Barbados. It's fun, specially the 20/20 games. And the ladies make more noise than the men. Enjoy. The Kensington Oval also hosts lives entertainment. I really enjoyed watching our island's favorite star Rihanna in an open air concert at the Oval.

Fantastic cricket ground, steeped in history. To sit behind the bowler's arm the 3W's stand is the best. It also has concession stands and washrooms. The Greenidge & Haynes stand is the most lively :)
In addition to cricket, Kensington Oval is also used for football and for music and cultural events. Check www.WhatsOnInBarbados.com to see when matches are playing.

Rebuilt when the West Indies hosted the cricket workd cup in 2007; even the orientation of the pitch was changed!. Excellent facilities, a great stadium for enjoying your cricket. 'The Beach' area of the stadium is a great Caribbean 'lime' (chill out).
