Where do I begin? Key West is unique to say the least! Enjoy sunset celebration with plenty of street performers, take the Conch Tour Train to tour the island, enjoy shopping, dining, partying, drag queen shows, and more!

Can't come down to the keys without taking a day trip to Key West! Take a trolley tour if you don't have much time to explore & learn about the history and take in the beautiful historical architecture.

Key West is always fascinating. It is so alive but at the same time relaxing. There are also some interesting spots to visit- hamingway house, a botanical garden... At night it is really alive. You colud rent a bike and ride here and there ! Great.

Quirky, international (visitors come from all over the world), with a feeling of remoteness and some of the best sunsets I've ever seen anywhere.

Beautiful waters, skies, and very casual atmosphere. There's plenty to walk around and explore, and the beaches are marvelous. Definitely a "spring break" kind of place to visit with friends if searching for a place that screams "casual sun".

Find Hotels in Key West:

Description

The southernmost city in the United States, Key West is truly a Caribbean paradise. Situated on a spit of land off of the southern tip of Florida, Key West is all about sun, fun, and the beach-even the ride to Key West over the ocean from Florida is quite the scenic journey. Highway 1 becomes an official Overseas Highway as it extends out for miles into the gulf towards Key West Island. The Key West shopping scene is much mellower than in Miami. There are certainly shops selling the local (somewhat flashy) clothing, just don’t expect to part with as much cash for your tracksuit as you might on the mainland. The waters surrounding Key West are frequented by fishing charters, sunset cruises, and parasailing opportunities for the adventurous crowd that frequents this location. The adventurous spirit of youth is definitely in the air-college students flock to Key West yearly during Spring Break. Whether or not this is your game, after a few nights of parties consider hitting your brain’s “ ... read more
