Beautiful waters, skies, and very casual atmosphere. There's plenty to walk around and explore, and the beaches are marvelous. Definitely a "spring break" kind of place to visit with friends if searching for a place that screams "casual sun".

So - I was here many years ago and went back recently - It is not known for the beaches, though there are a few small ones. The nightlife, restaurants and Mallory Square sunset watching are the big attractions. Also, diving snorkeling, wave running and other water sports. But it's a nice place to just hang out and relax.

Best little island town in the United States! Before the days of the bridges through the Keys, Key West (or Cayo Hueso) lived in perpetual isolation. It eventually evolved into an odd hodgepodge of fishermen, artists, writers and people in hiding or who just wanted to disappear. Charming, tropical and magical, it's now a play land for adults and what a fun one it is!
