This hotel really has everything to offer in one convenient package. In addition to being located within easy walking distance to Killington, the Mountain Green has an on-site ski rental and sporting goods shop, as well as a deli/convenient store, gift shop, and restaurant with live music. The rooms are more like apartments, fully furnished, and each with pullout sofas. ...Popular with

This is truly the hotel of choice for both high-class amenities and proximity to Killington. The heated outdoor pool is perfect for a quick rejuvenation after hitting the slopes -- a mere stone's throw distance from the rooms. The fitness center was top notch, allowing guests to snag some last minute items for friends and family from the gift shop ...Popular with

The Summit Lodge and Resort is my favorite place in Killington. It’s delightfully quirky but also functional, spotlessly clean and luxurious. The Lodge opened in 1960, just a couple years after the ski area was established. The lodge’s 45 rooms are gorgeous, with plush bedding and excellent views over the valley and mountain. Four-poster beds, walk-through closets and rocking chairs ...Popular with

The Mountain Inn is a high-class establishment that maintains a homely, down-to-earth feel. Right next to the Killington ski resort, there is a free shuttle with waiting room that runs every 15 minutes. Conveniently, there is a ski locker right next to the shuttle drop-off location. Each room features a fireplace, balcony with gorgeous mountain views, a mini fridge and ...

The second you walk into the Greenbrier Inn, you are greeted with a distinct pine scent that fills you with warm holiday memories, even though Christmas may be long gone. As you approach the front desk in the lobby, there is a full plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies, free for guests. It’s clear that the Inn is owned and ...Popular with

North Star Lodge is an interesting and cozy five-level hotel set just back from Killington Road. From the road it looks a bit like a circular spaceship, with multi-level accommodation radiating out from a central hub. Inside, the rooms and public areas are very clean and welcoming, with luxurious accommodation available in the hotel’s suites. These feature corner whirlpool tubs, ...Popular with

Inn of the Six Mountains has a prime central Killington location, halfway up the road to the mountain ski areas. This is a big hotel, with over 100 guest rooms and an expansive lobby area. Other hotels, bars, restaurants and Killington nightlife are within walking distance. During the winter months, you can hop on a free shuttle to the ski ...Popular with

Killington Motel is a great place to stay if you want to be within easy reach of Killington Mountain without breaking the bank. Located on Route 4, which intersects with Killington Road providing access to the slopes, this motel offers spotlessly clean drive-up accommodation in two separate buildings. Nearer the road, the main building offers rooms with one or two ...Popular with

With a rather modern exterior, the suites at this hotel are very self-contained and peacefully quiet. Although the view of the mountain was not spectacular, the suites are a great budget for medium to large families -- each sleeping up to ten, with three separate rooms per suite connected by a common foyer. The basic kitchen, including a dishwasher, is ...Popular with

The Happy Bear is a cute, cheap and cheerful place right in the center of Killington. The motel has 16 rooms, which all feature microwaves and fridges for guest use. Five different restaurants are within walking distance, and the motel is within stumbling distance of the Pickle Barrel nightclub – there’s no need to drive for nightlife if you’re staying ...

You cannot get closer to Pico Mountain than the Pico Resort hotel. Although quite convenient, during the ski season this means the property is quite lively and bustling. It’s an exciting place to stay, but not the most relaxing or calm. Pico Mountain is only a few miles from the main Killington ski resort, and the center of town where ...

The Val Roc motel is a bit off the Killington main drag, and as a result, the rates are a bit cheaper. However, it is only a two-minute drive from Killington Resort’s Skeyeship gondola, and five minutes to Bear Mountain. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, and decorated with wood paneling. While not my taste, the décor is a bit ...Popular with

Come to the Hillside Inn for reasonable rates, convenient location and a comfortable place to stay. However, the look of the inn is a bit dated without the charming New England feel found at other hotels in the area. Although this is called an “inn” and not a motel, each room does have its own private entrance and you can ...
