Tucked away so that few people discover it. The approach is via Harcourt Street. Worth a walk through, especially in summer as it is beautiful. There are live music events in the summer.

This is a bar which is host to gallery exhibitions, food and music festivals and much much more. This is the type of bar you would expect to find in Berlin. Great music all the time - expect international djs to pop by and play. Has a converted double decker bus which serves pizza. Plenty of graffitti about the place. ...

Historic pub with an awesome name. On the large side for my taste, but they've got Guinness taps you can pull yourself at the tables, so that's fun.

Very tacky and touristy area full of pubs. Some gems can be found amongst the usual chain pubs and restaurants.

It's a beautiful campus. Unfortunately the long library and thus the Book of Kells were closed for Christmas, and we missed seeing them.

Maybe it was just the post-Christmas excitement, but it was a lot of fun to see everyone out and about. Mixed in with the shops are some of Dublin's oldest pubs, O'Donoghue's, Bruxellies, and McNeery,s.

The Book of Kells is a magnificent illuminated manuscript that contains the four gospels of the new testament. It was created by Celtic monks around the year 800 A.D. A page is turned daily so even if you've visited the book multiple times there's always a new page to look at and it's well worth looking at as the art ...

This cast iron pedestrian bridge was built in 1816, and features in many postcards of Dublin. It's official name "Liffey Bridge" is hardly every used, and the name Ha'Penny comes from the toll placed on crossing it for pedestrians, when it was first built. It was renovated in 2001 so hopefully it will survive another 200 years.

This was the family's favorite museum. The exhibits were well laid out. We learned a lot of history. My wife really enjoyed the old jewelry and gold. The kids love the interactive computer exhibits. I thought the viking and medieval stuff was first rate. It made all of us happy, and best of all it was free.

This is by far the most unusual and interesting museum in Dublin. They've got a bit of everything, but the core of the collection is made up of rare religious texts from Asia and the Middle East. Lots of manuscripts on papyrus, hundreds of Korans, early Biblical texts, and so on. The garden outside is a perfect place for a ...

This is a park in the centre of a beautiful Georgian square. On the railings around the park on Sundays hang paintings by artists for sale. There is now a coffee stand at the Gallery corner of the Square so you can get outdoor drinks and snacks.
