The Kimmel Center is the home of the Philadelphia Orchestra (Philadelphia Orchestra is considered to be one of the top five orchestras in the country). Besides hosting the orchestra performances, it also includes a variety of other performances – jazz, dance, pop music. The Kimmel Center contains two performance halls under one roof – the roof itself is an architectural wonder, being made of glass, and creating an amazing effect when sun is shining above and reflecting on a beautiful curvy wooden panels. You can go into the Kimmel Center even when there are no performances and take a tour of this stunning building (don’t miss the Roof Garden). The main auditorium is so beautiful – you feel like you are inside of a cello or a violin made of red mahogany. It’s always feels like a holiday when you go there.Recommended for:
