THE LOCATION OF THIS HOTEL AND THE AMAZING SERVICE MAKE THIS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE.
I had a superior room reserved and because the hotel wasnt full and I struck up a conversation with the Front Desk Clerk he upgraded me to a suite.
This was one of the best stays I have ever experienced!
The room was so comfortable and beautiful.
I later contacted the manager who graciously agreed to show me the Penthouse Suite.
It was large enough for 100 of your closest friends with a view of the Acropolis that looked like a postcard.
It you appreciate great service and a hotel that is almost a boutique hotel but with every possible amenity then this hotel would make you smile.Recommended for:

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, quality was the overriding theme here. This hotel leaves nothing to be desired, and would satisfy even the most demanding guest. Every amenity is available, from top (elegant rooftop restaurant with an extensive breakfast buffet and views of the Acropolis), to bottom (indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, fitness room). The desk in the spacious, elegant room provided a convenient place to correspond with those who could not join me, and the balcony overlooking Syntagma Square was better than television. No problem spreading out in the spacious bathroom with a large tub for soaking in. From the moment the breakfast buffet closes, the roomy bar downstairs opens for a relaxing daytime sip, or for a wild night out. As I found out, there is a reason this is considered one of the best hotels in Athens!Recommended for:

Clicking at the heels of its luxurious neighbour the Grande Bretagne (which still takes poll position for being the smartest place to stay in the city), this Leading Hotels of the World member was a bit bling for my taste - which unsurprisingly makes it a popular choice for visiting Russian oligarchs and their gold-clad entourages. It's smart and comfortable and the rooms overlooking Syntagma Square offer a great vantage point of the second fall of Greece. A word of warning about the hotel spa: I would avoid using the jacuzzi if your skin is easily irritated - I suspect they pour rather too many chemicals into it.Recommended for:

The luxury double room overlooks the main square of Syndagma and I can see the Parliament to the left, and to the right is the Acropolis. There’s free wifi everywhere in the hotel which is great for my roaming laptop but the room is so comfortable to be in that I would prefer to stay here and enjoy the view from the balcony while hearing the low hum noise of the city below. The classical french decor of the room and hallways feels warm and inviting, a sense of royalty, and the indoor hamam/pool in the basement is a treat for tired feet after hours of walking in Athens. Located in the heart of Syndagma square, this luxury hotel offers a restaurant on the 7th floor that has tables on the balcony with a clear view to the Acropolis as well as indoor seating.Recommended for:
