This place rocks for kids.
Every tuesday they have a Kieko menu for $.99.
Yes, not a misprint or type. 99 cents.
Catch- you have to bring a kid under 12.
But, you can bring several kieko with ONE adult.
I am sure that there is a limit but they don't seem to care.
They bring those lovely bread to the table. Love carbs. Bad for your waistline.
They have a circular fish tank. If you have kids, ask to sit near there.
Bread, discounted kid's menu, great food, great service and fish.Recommended for:Family Travelers

I love King's Hawaiian Bread but never knew there was a restaurant and bakery here in California. I haven't had the opportunity to eat here but it looks like they serve all the traditional Hawaiian dishes. I definitely will be back to try their food.
The restaurant was busy but the bakery was packed. They have so many variety of baked goods. I bought their fresh banana nut bread and it was delicious. There were a lot of bananas and nuts in the loaf. The bread was super moist and delicious.
The 3 of us decided to share the paradise cake. It has 3 layers of different cakes with white frosting. I'm not 100% sure what the flavors are but they are tropical fruit flavors. The cake is delicious. They also make paradise cheesecake too.
The bakery has a huge selection of pastries, donuts, and cakes. I was told that they even do wedding cakes.

One of my favorite family restaurants! I love love love the Hawaiian bread rolls. Can't get enough of them. They're free and you can keep asking for more if you want. Don't forget to get spam musubi as an appetizer. In terms of the actual entrees, I love the coconut shrimp skewers and the chinese chicken salad here. As for the place, it looks really nice and has all types of Hawaiian-themed decorations. All the waiters are super friendly too!

When you come here, you just can't resist the sweets! We've made two trips here, once for a late dinner and once to pick up a cake.
My review is for their baked goods. I've grown up on their sweet buns and I've had their paradise cake when coworkers bring it in. I purchased a passion fruit cake for my coworkers because it was the best flavor they had left (paradise being first and guava being second).
They asked if I wanted a message on the cake, and since it wasn't for any occasion, I had them write "Happy Monday" on it for my coworkers.
Although the presentation of the cake is not as pretty as Porto's Bakery, the moistness of the cake and the flavors were just amazing. It really made my coworkers happy, and then the "I hate you" greetings for the extra calories they'd have to work off at the gym!
If I was in the Torrance area again AND it happened to be by a King's Hawaiian, I may just have to get another cake just because!
