Great theme park like Fiesta Texas! I loved the roller coaster where you stand up! Also I loved the simulation ride! Survived them all, thankfully!

Oh Kings Island.... where to start. This park has literally something for everyone. There's big thrill rides, a great kiddie area, small tame coasters for the younger/not so thrill seeker, gentle flat rides, shops, games, and nostalgia. Now I'm going to give more tips rather than a review since I'd just be reiterating everyone else.
If you're going to go at least 3 times, buy a gold pass. It will pay for itself the 3rd visit. If you're going to visit any other parks (like Cedar Point) Go platinum. Again 3 times, with free parking included its paid for.
Stop at Kroger or Meijer to get discounted tickets.
Pack a cooler to have a picnic in the parking lot, or if you want, you can leave the parking lot (make sure you got a parking receipt) and drive around the corner to restaurants. Thats the main reason for one less star. Food prices are ridiculous compared to other amusement parks.
Ride the Beast at night. It's not as rough then and flies down the track. It adds a whole new thrill! Diamondback is amazing. Even if you're not a coaster person, its worth a ride. It is the smoothest coaster I've ever ridden, and I've been on a lot. Its like you're just floating out of your seat every hill you go over. its amazing. Also fun at night.
If you want to do the extreme rides like slingshot, or skyflyer, go by your ticket for $5 right away in the morning before prices go up, then use your ticket later on in the day when its $20 so the lines aren't as long.
Don't complain about the lines in July, thats peak season, especially on a Saturday. Just don't do it.
The 3-D glasses are not worth it for Boo Blasters. It makes it hard to hit the target, but it is a cool effect
It IS worth it for the $1 3-D glasses for Starlight Experience. You can also share them, and use them on Blasters. Different colored lights are different shapes and its just neat!
If you need an $8 beer, The restaraunt at the entrance to Coney Mall, across from slingshot, has the best beer selection, and the outdoor patio to enjoy.
The fireworks at night are pretty good. The Beast does shut down for a few minutes, but enjoy them from the queue line, and when the ride opens back up you'll be able to ride.
Enjoy the many live shows they put on as well. If you plan to attend their Halloween Haunt, I suggest a Friday night, especially if the weather was crappy or rainy earlier in the day. Rain keeps crowds away and the real fog will take over. If you want to enjoy the haunts, stay away on a Sat. night. The park is open all day so people enjoy the rides earlier then stay for the Haunts. Sunday and Thurs are good times to go since there will be a light crowd, but school is in session, so a lot of the houses won't be fully staffed either, so take that into consideration.

Cedar Point edges King's Island out on roller coasters (even though King's Island has some really good ones), but King's Island is unbelievably awesome if you're a young kid. They have one of the best selections of kid-sized rides anywhere and all I could think about every summer as a kid was going there.
