This is Kmart Store #7705 and it is the pride of the Island of Guam!
It is on the way from the airport to the Tumon Bay hotel district. My cab driver pointed it out with pride as perhaps the largest Kmart in the world. I kind of doubt that, but a lot of Kmarts have closed down, so who knows?
This place is such a popular distination, the tour buses stop here with loads of Japanese tourists piling out looking for bargains, cheap souvenirs, and refreshments both adult and otherwise!
I was waiting in line with a bunch or HIgh School girls from Japan. I am not sure why they weren't in school instead of being in a Kmart in Guam? Maybe it was a class research project and field trip? I dunno.
This place has all the famliar American brands to buy, from phamacy items, to housewares, to food items, to home furnishings, to clothes.
I bought MInute Maid OJ, Yoplait Yogurt, and Vitamin Water here to put in my Hotel room's fridge, so I would have them for breakfast, instead of the $25 buffet at the Taste restaurant at the Westin. Saves time and money.
