    Bakery Bar

Bakery Bar leaves one the impression that it's a tin shack off the side of the street, but walk further up the pavement and you'll see a bakery, serving breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and assorted sweets. I recommend the biscuit jammies, where jam is already slabbed between the biscuit. Also, check out their enormous cinnamon buns if you crave something sweet.

Apparently this place changed hands fairly recently and is not as "cool" as it used to be. Anyway I liked the option of design-your-own mac and cheese, and it was tasty.

I don't have high expectations regarding Airport food and hence I'm rarely disappointed. But if you're willing to walk around a bit, PDX has a decent selection of culinary options and at comparable prices. I was heading home after another nice Portland weekend. I was a bit early and all I really wanted to do was settle into a seat ...

    Laurelthirst Public House

    0.93 mi from Koji Osakaya

I have a muddled relationship with this place - on the one hand I hate the Freaks - the Freak Mountain Ramblers (Family now) who play on Sunday nights and that was my first introduction to this place and the band. But, I concede, if you have a love for folk rock by way of bluegrass then you'll most likely ...

Voodoo Doughnut is a Portland signature spot to visit. Their donuts are insanely huge and interesting. They have sex-themed donuts too, and lots of cereal crusted ones as well as the the ever-so-popular maple bacon bar. I'm not a huge fan of sweets so once was enough for me. They are open late night which suits the party crowd who ...

Delicious, updated and modern, but still traditional Thai food. All extremely fresh tasting. Staff very eager to explain dishes and make recommendations. Dishes average between 9-15 dollars. You'll want to try a lot of different things and sharing dishes seems to be the norm. Pok Pok is known for its wings, but that's hardly the extent of their greatness. This ...

Who ever though food from a cart could be so good?! In Portland you can have gourmet on the go and a good price at that. They have a food cart for any and every kind of food you could imagine! Even incredibly inventive fusion styles like Koi's Korean Mexican or Viking Soul Food! Portland is very health conscious so ...

If you are fond of sweets and ice cream, you must check out Salt and Straw. They have an amazing selection of uniquely flavored ice creams. I was able to try their Pear with Blue Cheese ice cream and the Meyer's Lemon Chocolate Sorbet. I have never tasted anything like these two flavors.

Of all the local coffee roasters in Portland - and I tried a half dozen different ones over the course of a few days in town - Stumptown Roasters was the champ. Beautifully balanced roasts, strong enough for espresso (Hair Bender!) at home.

Best restaurant that I ate at in Portland. PROS: - Amazing drinks. No matter what the concoction, they seem to find the perfect balance in each mixed drink. - Peruvian tapas - i love tapas regardless since it makes it easy to share a variety. It's no different at Andina, the food is to die for CONS: - Nada TIP: ...

In the heart of the Pearl District, it's one of many cafés for good coffee, but here you can also post up with fast internet next to the fireplace or up in the mezzanine. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. We ordered the natural sausage, provolone and cheese on an English muffin — so delicious! The mixed berry scone was bursting ...
