This area does have a surprising amount in it. There are tennis courts as well as multiple buildings that I saw martial arts courses as well as art courses going on. There is also at least one baseball diamond. It is also relatively close to an area to get food and other supplies.

One of the main reasons why the KOKO CRATER RAILWAY TIE HIKE is called the wrong name...this is a nice little park for sports and such, but it sits right in front of Koko Crater...so people assume this hike up the Railway ties is called Koko Head...It's not.
For those vacationing and wanting to hike KOKO CRATER...This Regional Park is a landmark for you to find Koko Crater to hike it.
Parking for the KOKO CRATER HIKE is at the Koko Head Regional parking lot.
Over all the park is only used for local sports and useless to travelers except to park for the Koko Crater Hike.
