The Kolea at Waikoloa Beach Resort is a beachfront property with 136 units across 16 buildings. It is a gated vacation resort. The units are either one or two bedroom apartments, each with a full kitchen equipped with all the pots and pans and utensils one may need to cook and serve a big meal. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean. The apartment was nicely decorated with updated and comfortable furniture throughout. Both the living room and each bedroom has its own TV for separate viewing.
The facility has an impressive infinity swimming pool and a well-equipped gymnasium to strengthen the body. This resort is located it the beautiful Waikoloa resort area with two shopping malls close-by. The Kings’ Shops and the Queens’ Marketplace satisfied all our shopping and dining needs.
This is a perfect resort for family vacation.

If renting a condo property on the Big Island is what you’re looking for, Kolea at Waikoloa Beach Resort is a brilliant choice. The huge property features a number of two and three bedroom units that come fully stocked with kitchen utensils and even pool toys for the kids. Parking is provided, a necessity as just getting out of the gated property by foot would take forever. Having a full kitchen is a plus, and the large lanais/patios are perfect for catching some sun without really going out.
The main lounge area is new and pristine, especially with the elegant infinity pool and the shiny fitness machines located nearby. It’s a great place to pass the day.
The Kings’ Shops and Queens’ Marketplace are really close by for meals and shopping. Head to Queens' if you want to spend more modestly. Head to Kings' if you need a new Louis Vuitton clutch.
