One of Paris' attempts to create an American-style coffee shop where you can come and work, drink lattes and eat brownies. It's all good and the place is cozy, but due to the lack of places like that in Paris, rather than a regular neighborhood coffee shop, it's a crowded spot for "hip" people.

Nice modern coffee shop with good outdoor seating. Very American /Aussie in style -- a good place for a cookie or brownie fix.

A great little cafe open daily at the edge of the 9th. It's an easy 5 minute walk from the Anvers Metro station.
Kooka Boora specializes in coffee...really good coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker but came with my friend who is and found myself savouring my cappuccino. They have a variety of baked goods including cookies, cake slices, cheesecake, quiches as well as milkshakes and fresh-pressed juices.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly and English is freely spoken alongside French.
Pretty sure if I lived in this neighborhood I would be here every day!

Best coffee. Unfortunately they've rearranged the seating to make it even more crowded and uncomfortable than before. But it's worth it for the coffee. WiFi available.
