    BackHome KL

    BackHome KL

    5
    2 reviews

Back Home Malaysia can be a good home to temporary residence in KL. I've been staying here every time in KL, and I like it a lot. Wi-Fi works great, staff are friendly, there are so many good local restaurants in the area. Located right near Masjid Jamek LRT station. Only a couple stops away from the twin tower.

    Reggae Guest House 2

This hostel is a stunning oasis of comfort and cleanliness amidst a precarious backpacker world. This is one of the only cases in which it will ever be OK to sleep in a 25 person dormitory. You get your own private pod-like bed with a curtain and plenty of storage space. The free breakfast is remarkable. Actually, so are the ...

This is one good place to stay in but there is just too many like this hostel in the area. They are very tidy and clean inside which stands out the most. There is all the important things they need to have to attract backpackers. The area around it is too jammed packed with people that it is even hectic ...

    Ancasa Express

    Ancasa Express

This is a very appealing hotel after a long bus ride into the city. It's on the 4th floor of the bus station and it's just RM 100 on Sunday thorugh Thursday about $40 U.S.) and 110 on Fri and Saturday night. There's a selection of much cheaper places to stay right near the bus station, but Ancasa Express @ ...

RED PALM is an old time backpackers' guesthouse. I know the owner personally. It's been running more than ten years as i remember, and it's writen up well in The LP and other guide books. The thing is, you need to book in advance usually; the price for a dorm bed has increased to Rm 30.00 so i think other guesthouse ...

Decent rooms right in the middle of the action in Chinatown. Doubles go for 160 which seems a tad high.

    Green Hut Lodge

    Green Hut Lodge

    2.5

To me it seemed fine. The veranda area is a nice place to sit in the evening, and the area, in Bukit Bintang, is close to the monorail, food hawkers, clubs, and shopping. You can't buy beer in the lodge, but you can buy it at the convenience store about a block away and bring it back to the porch ...

    Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur

    Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur

    Hotel Class:
    5
    13 reviews

The Mandarin Oriental has one of the best pools I've ever seen. It's an infinity edge pool with a view of the city an its parks. The hotel also has one of the best views of the Petronas Twin Towers in the city. The towers are lit up around 7:00 and the view from the 24th-floor lounge is memorable--maybe even ...

This hilton is one of the safest location to be at if you are afraid of bombs because before even going into the lobby they actually scan your car and check your car bonnet. The restaurant is very nice but i was wondering why is it that there is a stairs which is not partitioned out and you can walk ...

    Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel

This hotel is in a great location- close proximity to the Petronas towers and to some of the largest shopping malls. You have your pick of restaurants and places to visit around this hotel. The rooms are very simple and a little dated, but good enough. The staff is helpful when asked for something and the club lounge is good, ...

There is very few staff at the lobby when i was there. I roamed around freely while nobody actually acknowleges me which i feel like i am like an unwelcomed patron. The rooms are just like all the other hotel rooms. Nothing really special. The sauna room looks like it has never been used. One thing great about this place ...

Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur

The Prince is sort of dated but you could score some good deals here for a four-star hotel. A few things in my room weren't working but the staff corrected the situation very quickly. Wi-Fi for a surcharge is a big bummer, but check out the business center on the 5th floor for a free Wi-Fi code. Breakfast is an ...

    Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur

Very comfortable, clean and gracious Crowne Plaza. Feels more like a resort than a business conference setting (as some CPs do). Well kept rooms, walkable to the 2 major malls (Pavillion and KLCC) as well as the nightlife area. Highly recommended for location, comfort as well as friendly + helpful staff. Great option for business or pleasure.

The uneasy feeling from the lobby where the concierge and reception is located will be reduced by the free water and tea as you enter. Hotel Istana has great position in city and its really close to Bukit Bintang street. But there are little problems in house keeping that its not good for a 5 stars top hotel! For example some times they forget to charge the room completely and some thing like that. With all of the mistakes, breakfast was perfect.

The outward look of the hotel is like a cheap place to stay in but as you enter, it has a very empty place with a small deli. They have the simplest design of concierge and reception as a hotel. The gymnasium has several couches which I feel like they bought them at a wholesale market just to have them ...
