    Melia Kuala Lumpur

    Melia Kuala Lumpur

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    6 reviews

Melia is cheaper than some of the other hotels in the area, but in a good location. It's clean. The lounge has big windows and looks out onto a big street with lots of people passing, so it's kind of an interesting place to sit, and in the evening there's a piano player. Front desk staff seem nice. In The ...

    Red Palm

RED PALM is an old time backpackers' guesthouse. I know the owner personally. It's been running more than ten years as i remember, and it's writen up well in The LP and other guide books. The thing is, you need to book in advance usually; the price for a dorm bed has increased to Rm 30.00 so i think other guesthouse ...

    Hotel Class:

Good! - 77% of guests recommend

Bang in the middle of Chinatown, the Swiss Inn in KL has got the location thang going on. Tasty grub, a tour desk in the lobby and a very helpful staff make this place a bargain if you got to be close to the shopping and culinary action on Petaling Street. You might even learn some Malay like I did. ...

One of the coziest 4 Star hotel I've ever stayed while on vacation. It is situated in the heart of the city. It is near KL's shopping center the Berjaya Time's Square. Walking distance to MRT and Monorail. Employees are helpful. Quite a good service. WiFi is for free too!

Good! - 77% of guests recommend

This place is right in Chinatown, so food and faux Louis Vuitton luggage are never a problem to find. It has clean bathrooms and dorms for around thirty ringgit ($10 U.S.) and single rooms for forty-five ringgit ($15 U.S.) which is hard (but not impossible) to beat. There are repeat stayers because it is a clean, cheap place with nice ...

Good! - 76% of guests recommend

I agree with Paula and Mike. I didn't realize the price of these rooms when I saw them at first. They're a lot more inexpensive than they look, and even if you usually enjoy having a pool or gym, there's a lot to do in Kuala Lumpur and in the area, so you might not need it. I found the ...

This place is located at the worst nightmare for people who want to avoid the traffic jam in Kuala Lumpur. They have ample parking space for the guests. A guesthouse in two parts: a budget wing with cheap as chips dorms and the other part which offers private bedrooms with either en suite or shared bathrooms. It's hard to argue with the value this place offers, occupying a row of shophouses in the Bukit Bintang district. Its owners have done their best to influence the design with a ...

    Crowne Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur

    Hotel Class:

Mediocre - 67% of guests recommend

The Crowne Plaza is not horribly expensive and it's in a really good location for transportation. It's right by Raja Chulan monorail station and The Twin Towers are within walking distance. However, it does feel like a not so opulent hotel occupying a formerly opulent hotel's physical building, which I believe it might be. The dated gym depressed me. I ...

Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

The only bonus you get staying at the Impiana KLCC Hotel & Spa is it's location, and perhaps the bridge that connects to it which leads you to the Pavilion. I found the rates very expensive and you can definitely find similar value for less dollars. The food was very average, the swimming pool area very small and lack of ...
