Kuala Lumpur's Menara Tower is just another high sky tower that you would find in any other big cities around the globe, but again, it's a great way to see a city in all it's angle. The Menara Tower definitely catch the eyes at night time and makes beautiful postcards, you can also get very close from any KLCC hotels ...

    Petaling Street

    61 reviews

Today's Petaling Street, Chinatown KL is more touristy selling tourist twinkets but the fact that it is the original Chinese enclave in KL means the area is also full of history and stories of the original Chinese immigrants and migrant workers' struggle and triumph.

    Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

    24 reviews

Supposed to be the worlds 'largest free flight aviary' ...most of the beautiful birds were tied to logs so that viewers could pose alongside and take photographs. Sickening!!! Especially the poor owl(trying to sleep in the middle of the day) that was tied to a log and forced onto peoples shoulders for photographs. Shame on these people!!! I encourage people ...

    Merdeka Square

    3.5
    18 reviews

    Masjid Jamek

    3.5
    17 reviews

Masjid Jamek is much more photogenic than the National Mosque. I loved the mouldering walls brought about the intense humidity of the tropical Malaysia - very evocative. Conveniently located on the SkyTrain route it's easy to snap a few shots if you're shy about entering of donning special non-muslim clothes.
