Kuala Lumpur's Menara Tower is just another high sky tower that you would find in any other big cities around the globe, but again, it's a great way to see a city in all it's angle. The Menara Tower definitely catch the eyes at night time and makes beautiful postcards, you can also get very close from any KLCC hotels ...

    SURIA KLCC

    Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

    60 reviews

It used to be a posh mall at KL but it has lost its shine, overtaken by the new mall pavillion. During my recent visit, I felt that the mall has some refurbishment, new wings and more shops and cafe that it is lively again.

    Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

3 Jalan PJS 11/11, Petaling Jaya 46150 Malaysia
    4
    25 reviews

The theme park has been around for some time. The water and amusement parks are ok, the wildlife park is disappointing (quite dirty in fact) and food within the premises is overpriced. Try and get in early as the crowd builds up towards noon time and you'll be waiting in line for the popular slides/rides. It is quite boring for ...

    Bintang Walk

Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur 55150 Malaysia

    26 reviews

A shoppers delight, the Bintang Walk is at the heart of KL's entertainment district. Arabs tourists love this area because of all the Arabian food places popping up and hookha bars here and there. Before you drop from so much shopping and entertainment, be sure to get a massage while you're there. Heaps of parlors to help you out.

KL Bird Park is a huge bird sanctuary and is filled with peacocks and other exotic looking birds. There is a section where you can take personal photos with the parrots and toucans. You initially feel they are going to bite you, but they sit on your arms and relax. It's a treat.

The building you see in the picture lights up at night and changes about 15 different colors. It is a replica of Big Ben from England. Malaysia was once a British colony.

Kampung Baru is a neighborhood in KL that really surprised me--we walked through it starting from the Chow Kit monorail station, after seeing the market right there. Once you wander out of the market, you're in this low-rise neighborhood that almost feels like a village--people have chickens in their yards and everything. But in the background, the Petronas Towers are ...
