Perfect place to get everything done in one day! You got your choice of ATV, Horseback riding around the ranch and a couple of different small bus and trips to check out their special movie locations from Jurassic Park to 50 first dates.
The ATV should either be done first or last because rush hour and you WILL get dirty!Recommended for:

Stopped in on a road trip to check out the shop. Quite a assortment of souvenirs and apparel, plus a snack bar. Several years ago I had the opportunity to take a behind the scenes tour and it was actually quite interesting.Recommended for:

Explore by ATV, horseback or open air bus. Fantastic movie tour, see where Pearl Harbor, Lost and over 100+ movies have been made. It's a working ranch and they sell their beef (organic feed) there, no where else. Enjoy their own hamburgers or take some meat back to the house for the grill. You won't be disappointed.Recommended for:

Movie Tour is fun. The movie tour was a nice and fun way to spend an afternoon. There are several stops and it was very interesting to see the places where some famous films have been made. This was essential for the movie buff. You'll also get a little Hawaiian history and Mythology sprinkled with a little bit of local stories. You'll be able to get really amazing family pictures with real movie backgrounds.Recommended for:

Watch out for the T-Rex and the Smoke Monster! You get to see many movie and TV show sites at this gorgeous ranch, including sets from Lost, Jurassic Park, King Kong, Windtalkers, etc.. My friend, my sister, and I did the 2 hour ATV tour and it was so much fun! I'm a big Lost fan (and I was really into Jurassic Park too when it came out) so I loved seeing some familiar sites, like Hurley's golf course, from Season 1. Or remember the dinosaur stampede in Jurassic Park and that hill they crest when they start running? Yup, saw that. The property is also just amazingly beautiful, with jungles and open fields, gorgeous views of the ocean, and a stream running through. They have a whole herd of cattle roaming around- we saw baby cows, awww! The ATVs were fairly easy to drive, although fellow tourmates made things tricky by STOPPING ABRUPTLY FOR NO REASON! LOL, good thing one more ding or two in the bumpers wasn't very noticeable. The tour guides were 2 young, funny guys who kept the commentary lively and amusing. At the end of the tour, you get to do a "maze" and chase each other around on twisty little paths- woo hoo!
A few tips- you have to wear closed toe shoes (and you'll want to- plants whipping by and dirt in your sandals are no good). Bring your wallet and essentials or rent a locker for them. The parking lot is pretty safe so car trunks aren't impossible but... it's up to you. You will get filthy, so don't wear your best white clothing! With my fair skin, I ended up looking like a little chimney sweep child, hehe. Lots of great photo ops, so hook your camera case on your belt or just tighten the wrist strap- it's a bumpy ride!Recommended for:

A spectacular verdant valley on the way tot he north shore. Some small ruins to check out, and a little pit stop restaurant. You can take a guided ATV tour up into the mountainside as well.

Came here on an excursion tour with Aulani resort. $255 per person included round trip transportation (which makes it worth it on its own), BBQ at a private beach (beef was amazing), lots of options to relax or have fun at the beach (hammock, mats, sea kayaks, paddle boards, volleyball, ping pong), a short catamaran trip out into the bay to get a good view of the coast and take photos, and a 2 hour horseback riding tour through amazing scenery.
It was my first time on a horse and it was a good experience. I was paired up with Waimea and didn't have too many problems. All the horses were well trained to ride in a single file line and just needed encouragement to do what they were supposed to do. One lady had a really tough time and ultimately a guide was called for her so she could finish her tour on jeep. The weather was beautiful and I had a great time!

Kualoa Ranch has come a long way over the years...boy have they grown into a Hawaiian Mini Disney World.
Horseback Riding isn't the only thing they do here any more...They have expanded GREATLY...To think about it...I don't know what they DON'T offer:
-Secret island Getaways with Private catamaran Tours across the street at Kualoa Regional Park
-Movie site and Ranch Tours
-Jungle Expedition Tours
-Hawaiian Fishpond and Garden Tours
-Ocean Voyage Tours
The list goes on and on...For God sake's they even have Dinner and a show and even offer you Kualoa Beef from their own stock...The place pulls out everything they can manage to get out of their pockets...trust me...
Now I have done and been on several of these tours...The Jungle Tour, the Movie Tour, the ATV Tour and the Horseback Tour...My personal favorite is the "2 HOUR HORSEBACK TOUR RIDE" deep into Kaʻaʻawa Valley where Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, Lost, Hawaii 5-0 and many other movies and TV shows have been filmed. You’ll also see forests, WWII bunkers and fantastic views of the Kualoa Mountains and Pacific Ocean.
There are many Horse ranches on Oahu and all of them are great, but the 2 hour Horseback ride in one of the most FAMOUS valleys on OAHU...well...it just can't be beat.
Recommended Reservation: 3:30pm Last tour of the day
Cost: ( $99.00 ) The two hour Horseback Tour. There is no substitute for the two hour tour. Yes, it’s more expensive, but it’s well worth it and it’s the only tour that goes through the Ka’a’awa Valley. Sometimes you need to spend your hard earned money and this is one of those times.
NOTE: Make reservations WELL in advance, this tour is so popular it can fill up a month in advance, no joke, so PLEASE think well ahead on this one! Check out there calendar to see what days are filled: http://www.kualoa.com/reserve_horse2.htm

Do you remember the beautiful scenery in Jurassic Park or the TV show Lost? Kualoa Ranch is where they filmed a lot of it. My friends and I took a LOST jeep tour but we ended up appreciating the beauty of Kualoa Ranch. I think you have to be on some sort of your to get inside the ranch but it's well worth it. The greenery was amazing, everyone in my group raved about it and said it was the favorite part of the trip.

Wonderful place to go and affordable! Choose from different adventure packages and see some of the most beautiful parts of the island. I went horseback riding, atv riding, jungle expedition and a boat tour...all of them provided different views which were breathtaking! The guides were informative and it was an excellent way to spend the day!

I spent many schooldays at Kualoa Ranch, running in fields, crafting traditional Hawaiian wares, and canoeing up and down streams. While it's not the prettiest of areas, it offers most anything you could want to do outdoors. My next visit, I hope, will surely involve horseback riding...Recommended for:

The goal of the management behind this scenic expanse of absolutely picturesque Hawaiian landscape is to offer guests a world-class attraction showcasing Hawaii's natural beauty while disturbing the natural environment as little as possible. Visitors can join in tours of a tropical garden with plants from throughout Polynesia, hop on a jungle expedition, enjoy horseback riding, hit up a petting zoo, tour a movie museum (and see actual filming locations featured in some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters), or visit Hawaii's only fully functioning ancient fish pond. The staff are very professional, and you can tell they buy into the maintaining harmony with nature idea as wholeheartedly as their management. Kualoa Ranch is also home to great dining options, and a well stocked gift shop, that, combined with everything else to do here, is definitely worth the journey from Waikiki.Recommended for:
