Arguably the best poutine in town. They serve a ridiculous large number of poutine varieties. They open late so it's always a after drinks place to go.

This restaurant is talked about in almost every travel guide of Montreal. It's poutine is supposed to be some of the best in the city.
It didn't disappoint. It was delicious, with the perfect amount of crisp in the fries, saltiness of the gravy, and cheese curds! They have several different types of poutine and offer beer pairing suggestions for each one.
The restaurant itself is large, but always packed, making it seem cramped. There is constantly a line to get in but it is worth it!

THE place to have a poutine in Montreal. My fave is the hot-dog poutine... and I like mine with extra bacon and onions. This place is open 24hrs, so you have no excuse not to miss it. There's sometimes a line up outside, but the wait is well worth it, especially if you've never had poutine before. The place is located close to the bars in Le Plateau, so why not drop in and get a taste of the real Montreal after you close the bars at 3am...
