A spectacularly good restaurant with a rather nice hotel attached. Surrounded by lush, colourful Meditarranean flora and a 1,000-year-old oliver grove, this is the picture postcard version of a French country house and the location terrific for exploring both the town of Grasse and the nearby Cote d’Azur region. The rooms are tastefully furnished and up to the standards you'd expect in a five-star property but understandably, much more intimate than you'd get at one of the seafront palaces in Cannes or Nice. And of course if you're looking for a Michelin-starred restaurant, it's right on your doorstep. Picturesque and pleasant but most enjoyable at breakfast time before everyone else gets there.Recommended for:
